Phoebe overhears Taylor's conversation with a colleague and assumes that her mother is going to turn herself in. Taylor assures her she's just taking a leave of absence from her job, and warns Hector to stop trying to control her life. Later, Taylor is alone in her office when Stephanie shows up, fresh from a visit with Thorne and Alexandria, wanting to mend fences, and the two women end up embracing. Ridge and Donna are both upset with Brooke for firing Donna after such a successful showing, both blaming her relationship with Nick. Brooke leaves to meet up with Nick, and after seeing an article about Donna's role as the Brooke's Bedroom spokesperson realises what a bad business move she made.
